Equine Encore Foundation

Lack of Money
She is an older Washington bred mare whose racing career spanned 7 years. She was foaled on April 19, 1996, and started 60 times beginning in her home state at Playfair, moving to Portland Meadows in Oregon, then on to the California fairs and running six years of her career at Turf Paradise in Arizona. She achieved "Stakes Placed" classification. After leaving the track, this good- natured lady became a western pleasure horse and was gentle enough for small children to ride. Her owners felt that her name had a bad connotation and referred to her as MO. Her owners' ill health caused them to seek sanctuary for their beloved mare at Equine Encore Foundation.
